Just thought of another reason I like mine.

After I get through the 1/4 mile, I get the rear slider open first and it
lets fresh air into the cab and cools everything really quick

the package I ordered. As the truck is air conditioned I don't use the
window at all, but I don't really mind it. It takes a day or two to get
used to the two black lines in your rear view mirror, but it really doesn't
block vision at all. Another thing to note is that with the club cab the
window is far enough back that you can't open it from the driver's seat
without turning around, so it's impossible to do while driving (At least if
you intend to keep following the road at the same time)
