Dodge uses at least 2 different 5 speed manuals in the Dakota, the 4s and
V6s use (at least used to) a Japanese built AX15 while the V8 Daks get the
good old American NV3500.

I've had occasion to speak with some engineers from NV and their opinion
seems to be if it's built by the GM side you may have problems
