I have followed the instructions to a tee. I have tried using
windex, alcohol, and just plain water to prep the glass prior to
using rain-x. I have wiped off the residue with both dry and wet
cloth.
I have used the product for years without any problems. In fact it
still works great until you turn on the wipers. Then it leaves
behind a nice rainbow streak for several seconds. Not good in
traffic at night.

Has anyone experimented with their windshield wipers to help them
stay on the glass at high speed. After 70 mph mine start to leave
alot of water behind.
Thanks for any sugestions.
