You know the reason it's set up like that don't you, because when guys are
in their youth they do most of the driving when they go out with their
wife/girlfriend, i.e the main reason young women have less wrecks than
young men is that they drive less, but if you look at the insurance tables
after about 55 the rate for males goes down and the rate for women goes up
the reason for this? If you notice old couples the woman is usually in
better shape than the man (The whole women outlive men deal) and thus they
do most of the driving so at this point the situation is reversed the
reason rate for women is higher is because they do more driving than the
men and thus are put in a position to have a wreck more often, and so they
have more wrecks than the older men... So it's not that one group drives
better or worse than another it's just at different stages in their life
one group drives more than the other and just by the fact of being on the
road more they have more accidents....
Just my perspective after seeing the insurance tables and thinking about
what I've seen in society...
