Howdy folks, I just picked up my 98 Dakota. I love it, but I have a question.
On my old 86 Ranger (Yuk) I had manual locking hubs. Wheels would spin, I 'd lock the hubs,
the axles would spin and then when ready I would shift the transfer cased into 4wd and away we go.
Now, with the dakota, no manaul locking hubs, so does it work on
a) hubs are locked all the time and axles always spin
b) when I shift the transfer case, it also locks the hubs ?
Could you respond to me and the list.
I had to subscribe to the digest version only for a couple of weeks beacuse I won't be in
work every day and the messages will clog up the mail. But also, sometime I can't get all
the digest version into memory, so I don't get it all.
So an individual response would be appreciated.
Thanks,
Nick
by the way
800 miles on my truck I've had it for exactly 5 days and I'm already getting 15mpg highway in
a v8
