Sounds like another subtle change for '98: I have a 4X4 light in the center,
lower edge of the guage cluster (below 0 mph on the speedo).
The transfer case lever is something that I feel leaves a little to be disired:
It's a long reach and I found no definite detent to know you're in 4-Hi vs
overshooting towards neutral. Twice I've gotten a rachety sound when I decided
to put it in 4-Hi before taking off rather than "on the fly" (gear not quite engaged
when you pull it to what feels to be the natural stop for 4-Hi toward neutral.....
the "real 4-Hi being before you come to the firm stop). Could be it needs an
adjustment, but otherwise I find it to be a mystery shifter.
