Slight modifications

A few weeks ago I posted some stuff about finding a local dealer to order
your Addco anti-sway bar. Well, I finally got around to installing the rear
bar, urethane bushings, as well as putting my FIPK-clone on my '95 318 CC 2wd.

The rear anti-sway bar makes a night/day difference in my truck's handling.
I'm not gonna say it handles like a slot car, because it doesn't, but man
oh man did it take a mighty chunk out of that wretched understeer. The
truck simply steers a lot more positively, and feels a lot safer. I imagine
when I load the bed down with weight it will only feel better. Anyway, I
highly recommend this mod.

The K&N FIPK-clone was simple, once I got around the pain-in-the-ass of
bending an S-bolt. I went straight from the bone-stock intake, complete
with turtleneck pre-cleaner, and the old butt-dyno seems to register a
detectable power increase. The engine used to suck wind somewhere around
3500rpm, but now feels much more responsive. Besides, I like the sound of
air getting sucked down the intake. ;)

Next on the list: cat-back and MP SBEC.
