Your computer-sbec-learns timing curves, idle speeds, a whole set
of parameters as you drive that helps it pick the best engine
management sequence for any situation to maximize speed, emissions,
etc. Try replacing or disconnecting you battery once. Start it up
with the a/c on full, flashers on, and with the steering wheel turned
all the way to one side. It might stall out because you erased the
memory of the computer and it has to relearn the "idle sequence"
so next time it knows to bump the idle speed to keep from stalling.
