Well Joe, that may be the case on some but when I had my cat back
exhuast done with a 2 chamber flowmaster 3" in and two 2.5" out it
gave me about a 10 hp gain as per DynoJet. I think the factory cat
maintains the proper back preasure. It must because my new high flow
cat did cost me torque. I will have exact numbers this weekend if it
does not rain out the races.
