Do the late model magnum 318/360 use roller cams? Do they have roller rocker arms? Do they have forged, hyper eutectic, or cast pistons?
I'm trying to find out how durable these engines are and if they would stand up to big NOS or Boost. The CR of 8.9:1 would lend itself to big boost.
These engines really seem to die off after 4000 rpm. Has anyone ever had the stock intake extrude honed to see if it would help the motor breath better? How about extrude honing the stock exhaust manifolds? DO they make roller rockers for it with a larger ratio to give it more valve lift? Anyone ever had a set of stock heads ported and polished (or swapped for early 318/360 heads) on their Magnum V8?
