   That's true, assuming I was to get a donor engine from a Ram or
something, but what I REALLY want to do is drop the 380 crate
motor in there. :-) (Why go halfway, eh?) ;-) I think the
crate motor has an orange block though, which might give it
away... :-)

  As far as the inspection itself, I'm not exactly sure what's
covered. I don't think there are any emissions tests. (But I'm
not sure. They did just institute some new stuff.) They do check
to be sure all the turn signals, brakes, horn, flashers, etc. are
working. They do pop the hood, but I'm not exactly sure what they're
looking for. Anyone know where I can find out what an inspection
covers? Maybe a DMV web site or something?
