Unfortunately, Indy seems to be the most centralized location for DML
Members. The only time I've been to Indy was the first year they held the
Mopar Nationals there. The staff there acted as if they didn't want us
there, the Police busted balls and the event wasn't as enjoyable as it was
in Columbus. But if you want to keep an event centralized to members, then
Indy would be the place.

Shreveport seems awfully far south for an event. We have 6 DML members here
in Connecticut, and a number in NJ and NY including are illustrious leader
(Jon) and a few in Michigan if I recall correctly. I know we have a HUGE
group from Texas. Indy seems to be a central point.

Personally, I'd like to see a mass pilgrimage to an already organized event
like the Indy Truck Bash or Mopar Nationals in Columbus. We get a couple of
hundred DML Dakotas hitting one of those events, people will take notice.

Another thing is we should really be looking to organize this gathering for
next summer. This summer is already half over and many of us (myself
included) have already planned or used our vacation time for this year. If
we plan for next year, everyone can schedule accordingly for a better
turnout.
