Hey Mike, that is quite a fashion statement you are making with you Dak.
You should take a picture a post it with a caption like, "Do what you gotta
do to make it run baby".

Subject: DML: MP valve covers
Just wanted to let everyone know I recieved my valve covers yesterday.
Man these things are Beeeuuutiful! I took a bunch of photos of the
covers and the install process so later on I'll do a write up and
post it on the DML page. So far I've only been able to put one cover
on because I'm waiting to get the grommet set for the pcv valve. So
now I'm running around with a stock cover on the passenger side and
the MP one on the drivers side. At least I've got the difficult one
taken care of.... Also I tried to use the stock studs
for the wire looms but they were too short, the threads wouldn't
reach far enough into the head to screw down, so I'll have to get
some aftermarket wire looms. Oh, and another thing, I'm pissed at Moroso.
5 of
my eight wires pulled off of the connector when I was taking them off
the plug. I pulled on the boot (not even real hard) and they just
slipped right out! These were factory crimpped! So any suggestions on
some good wires? I had to
reuse some of the stock ones, so my engine looks REAL funky now --
two different valve covers, 5 stock wires 3 Moroso wires, stock
manifolds..... Oh well, I guess I'll have to go to church tommorow
for all the cussing I've done in the last few days!...
