<< alan,
Now that Ive read the Shelby Durango hype (WHY an SUV... Jeeze) with
the 360 hp claims Im wondering why the Vortech kit isnt even in the 300
HP range... Could something be wrong? (other than advertising "poetic"
license) Hmmmm Ive heard that the Vortech should add at least 100 hp in
a 6lb config. with 220 hp to the rear wheels (from a previous post on
bad JET II) on a basically stock normally aspirated R/T then I would
expect at least 320 HP from a vorteched R/T... seems there is a mising
 40-50 HP around somewhere. >>

numbers are numbers.. plain and simple.

Goto the dragstrip, watch fast Mustangs.. you won't see many Kenne Bell's in
the winners circle.

>From my experience, the Vortech has a better power gain, it's ALOT cheaper,
and it uses engine oil instead of being self contained like Kenne Bell.. The
only advantage to the whipple would be in day to day driving, but when the
checkered flag drops... you know the rest.
