You didn't say if you have a 2wd or 4x4. This is what I know about the 4x4
models.

If you use a magnum 5.2 block than you may be able to reuse the stock
mounts. The motor mounts consist to 4 parts. A left and right bracket and
a left and right isolator.

The right bracket (part # 4412102) and the left (part # 4348555) was used
from 87-96 in both the V6 and V8 models. These are the part of the mounts
that actually bolts to the block and tranny.

There is a difference between the isolators on V6 & V8. The isolators are
attached to the frame and are also the mounts for the front axle housing.

87-90R (part # 4412104) V6
87-90L (part # 4348557) V6
91-96R (part # 52017548) V6
91-96L (part # 52017549) V6

The V6 isolators were changed in 91 because of a slight design change in the
front axle housing.
90-96R (part # 52004286) V8
90-96L (part # 52004287) V8

The V8 models have different isolators because of larger bushings for the
additional torque.

Pre-magnum engines mount in a different place (further forward on the block)
and would require major modifications to the mounts, though it is not
impossible. I've seen a 87 2wd Dakota at local car shows that has an early
70's 340 small block.
