Robert,
That's not exatly how it works. If you had cut a perfect light,
your ET would have still have been 15.33. Your ET doesn't start until
you make the light with your front wheels moving.
Ever watch the pro's on TV. Ever once in awhile you'll see a 7.09
beat a 7.05 in pro stock. The 7.09 car had a slower ET as it took him
.04 seconds longer to cover the 1/4, but he cut a better light, left
earlier, better RT, so he won. Said he had a RT of 4.50 and the losing
car had a RT of 4.59. The wining car got to the finish .05 seconds
sooner than the loser, so he won even with a slower ET.
While you down here in NC do you plan to go to Rock any. They have
test and tune just about every Friday night for ten bucks. Also over
at Maxtor, NC they run the standing mile about 5 times a year. It's
a ball, but you have to have some saftey equipment. The next meet
is Sept. 26th, I be there with my Impala.
