In requards to the load roar, it sounds like the fan clutch is enguaged. Lots
of dakota's do it on a cold start then after a few seconds it releases. If it
is doing this after 20min of driving then it is because the engine needs to
be cooled off or the fan clutch has a problem.
Note, if you live in texas where it is hotter than heck and your going up a
grade then that is expected behavior.
