Question - is anyone out there actually overheating???

I put a 180 thermostat on my 97 318 to run a little quicker and
marginally reduce temps, but it never overheated, even with the stock
thermostat. I'm in Dallas - the other day it was 108 degrees - NOT a
humidity index either - ACTUAL 108 degrees - my truck never overheats,
even sitting on the freeway in stop and go for an hour or more.
