Great letter, Eric. And a great big thanks to all the other DMLers
who are writing to Hurst (especially our automatic bretheren!).

Hi, My name is Eric Kurtz. Im a clay sculptor for Chrysler in the
Jeep
Truck studios and am also a very big Mopar guy. Me along with some
others
that Im sure you will get mail from shortly are extremely curious as
to why
you don't make a short throw shifter for the older and newer Dodge
Dakotas
with a manual trans. You make them for Integra's and S-10's which in
my
opinion doesn't have the power to budge an ant, and yet I cant get one
for my
5.9 with the NV3500 transmission. Now, if Im not mistaken, this is a
transmission built by the joint venture of Dodge and Chevy so this
trans is
also in full size Chevy's. So considering this, you customer base for
this
item would not only be Dodge owners, but Chevy owners as well.
 Knowing both
customer bases, it seems to me that the company that reacts to our
request
will soon run into a frenzy of orders from both sides of the market.
 Why not
your company? Or better yet, why hasn't anyone else thought of that?
I thank you for your time, and hope to be able to place my order
soon!
R Eric Kurtz
