I use Mobil 1 throughout. It's hard to find the synth. ATF
I too was thinking about using Mobil 1 throughout my 1997 Dak, but
decided against it. Well, at least the ATF anyway. The last time I did
any major research on synthetic fluids Mobil did NOT recommend their
synthetic ATF for 7176 applications. To be fair, the Amsoil ATF
information didn't impress me either. So, I'm using regular ATF because
if you don't use an approved fluid, you void your warranty.
On the other hand, I do use synthetic motor oil and do think that is a
wise move.
