block.The 340 360 block has different mount configuration on the drivers
side.Both of these blocks can only be bored 40 over safely.The torque of a 360
in daily driving
is very good ,while a 340 can be a bit peaky.Having run both bores for many
years I firmly believe the Torque of the 360 gives it an edge.The 360,s made
prior to 1974 are a better casting.This combo with some compression and a good
Mopar Performance camshaft such as the 759 and a good set of truck heads
P4529269 can easily make 300-350 real world horsepower.I have always run the
Themoquad and still do.Hard to beat 850CFM with the adjustability of the
Thermoquad.
