My name is Steve from central Cal. I just signed on this list to find
out what info there is available for the Dakota. Looks like there is
plenty of tips and tricks!
I just today ordered a 1999 Dakota R/T; black regular cab
with all the goodies! Now comes the long wait...approx. 6 weeks
according to the dealer.
Since there was no R/T available to test drive, I tried a 5.2/auto.
Can I expect much of a difference in acceleration and handling?
I have seen a tonneau cover that was mounted inside the bed rails
flush with the top of the bed, was painted the body color and appeared to be
made of steel. Who makes this?
