Guys, I don't mean to sound like a dumba** or something, but I too race
and have yet to see a stock late model stang run faster than a mid 14.
Modified I've seen them run as fast as 12 something but that was a 5.0.
These times are here in TX which seems to be a slow track for stock type
cars. I realize it's a record holding track for the big boys, but
compared to tracks elsewhere,it seems stock type cars run slower times.
I.E.high 14's from a stock R/T in New Jersey when all I could best was a
15.1 with a few mods. Anyway, I don't doubt that the cars you've seen
have run the times you say, I just don't see the same thing when I go
racing. Alan S.
