The bolt circle actually describes the diameter of a circle which runs through
the center point of each hole. That is, if you drew a circle 4-1/2" diameter,
then laid out 6 holes, each of which had its center point on the 4-1/2"
circle, you would have a 6 bolt pattern, on a 4-1/2" bolt circle.
