Thanks Jason...

The rims are not from American Racing...the name is close but they are
apparently separate companies. I couldn't find a website...yet. 4Wheel
Parts online (http://www.4wheelparts.com) sells these rims...and a s--tload
of others. You can probably find the rims at a local wheel shop but may
have to special order them since the '97-up Dak's don't have a lot of rim
selections yet.

Why a 2WD instead of a 4WD...well, at the time of ordering (February 1997),
I wasn't living in Texas and was still working as a "High-Tech Contractor"
in San Jose, CA. The 4WD and the V8 is actually what originally wanted.
But...gas mileage, overall cost of repairs, and overall vehicle cost (and
yes, the wife had something to say about it also)...I decided on the
V6-SLT/CC. Don't get me wrong, I love the truck and it hasn't seen the
dealer for any problems...with the exception of the alignment being totally
off from the factory...that's it.

The truck has already seen about 1000K Miles of Offroad trails from
California, Nevada, Arizona, and New Mexico...and now that the suspension is
more aggressive, it's definitely going to see even more this summer.
