For those of you who DON'T think racing a Dakota is an odd thing, the
time for the next SCCA autocross is rapidly approaching. It will be held
at the Grand Sport Speedway in Hitchcock (The Old Hitchcock Blimp Base),
Texas, THIS Sunday, March 14.

This month's course looks a little faster than last month's. They are
gridding the cars a little differently, so the course will certainly be a
little longer. I suspect the times will remain about the same. For a
map to the track, instructions, and a map of the course, go to the
Houston Region SCCA web site at;

Barbara is competing for points in our R/T. Last month, she beat a
couple of Rustangs to place 8th in class. Hope to see some more trucks
at the event. It is a LOT of fun, and you get to learn a lot about how
your vehicle handles at the limits in a very controlled environment. See
ya Sunday!
