I did miscalculate. I was diving the percentage into 189. Now when I divide
the percentage into the correct assumed 250 Horsepower... I came up with
24.25% Drivetrain loss on Swede's R/T (Or any other R/T with 1200 miles as far
as I am concerned) 250/24.25% = 61.625 HP 250 - 61.625 = Swede's 189
Horse Power. So now 24.25% is MUCH better than my old calculation of 32%
forgive me for faulty arithmetic : )
Now Swede, please don't feel that I was picking on you. You don't need to
explain your mileage and so forth as I am in the same boat with you. I was
just thinking with my fingers and figured I throw the numbers out to the DML.
If most other vehicles can achieve only 18% loss and the R/T is somewhere
around 25%, can this lost 7% or 17.5 ponies really be attributed to engine
break-in? Inquiring minds want to know. Has anyone else dynoed there stock R/T
with more miles?

BTW Swede, I am getting new a-arms (the dealer thinks my steering wheel clunk
is my lower control arm bushings are not pressed in all the way... ) and I
need to know if they will have to re-align my R/T after doing this. I have
been told that after any front end work a vehicle needs to be re-aligned. If
it does... should I mention your alignment specs to them... or will they have
the updated specs? This is a Chrysler dealer and not a Dodge dealer that I am
getting the work done at if that matters. Should I ask for their alignment
specs before they do it and, if they are different, have them call your
dealer?

Signed... worried about an incorrect alignment
