DML:Hp differences at rear wheels

As long as I have been driving mopars (35 years) there has always been a
difference of 25 horsepower loss when using a 904 versus 727.I,m sure that
this translates in to the same difference between the A500(44re) ands the
A518(46re)
It is as simple as possibly rotating mass. The 727 is a much heavier
transmission
and has heavier internal parts. The 904 is much lighter and takes less
horsepower
to turn. That is why the Stock mopar class racers use the 904.I think that this
translates into the difference not being as much on the dyno between the 5.2
44re
and the 5.9 46re.Any comments?
