Jon,

My tranny does that too. Thats how I broke my shifter plate! I did
notice thought when I had my new clutch put in, and the new 3-4 fork, oh and
the new ring synchronizers that it shifts a lot easier. Theres still a little
resistance but the pressure isnt quite as much now.
