My 318 is very efficient. It gets the same gas mileage as my 3.9 did when it
was in my dak. I have the same rear, but a 85 318 with a 727 TF tranny.
Granted it has a 2 bbl but so did the sixer. I get about 15mpg with it so i'd
have to say i get more power for the same ammount of gas. it works for me!!
