Cayuga International Dragway this Saturday 4/3/99 ?

   Just wondering if anyone was planning on going to Cayuga Dragway
Saturday? (tomorrow) I've got an appointment for Friday to get the winter
junk steam cleaned off my engine so I can install all my summer "go-fast
parts". I was just wondering if anyone else was thinking about going? I
won't be racing as seriously as I would a normal wed. night at NYIRP, but I
figure it would be fun to make a few runs, get to meet up with my fellow
DMLers again, and mebbe even race 'em. :-) If it rains, we could always
do a sort've "mini DML meet" and go out to get some lunch or something...

local boy, Keegan James Kearns Davidson, who has been diagnosed with a very

that the 3 ½ month old Keegan needs a stomach, small bowel, pancreas and
liver transplant to stay alive.

Track Manager, Neale Armstrong says that "We are giving back to the
community for their support, from management to staff, Keegan needs the
communities support, and that is what were doing, a local track helping out
the local community".

Donations can be made at the front entrance of Dragway Park on April 3rd
starting at 9:00 A.M., besides the opening day, please contact Jill Kearns

Along with the free racing and spectating at Dragway Park, the second
annual Dragway Park "battle of the media". Featuring some of Canada's most
recognized radio personalities like Jon "Gonzo" Mark of Q107 evening show,
Defending Champion Pat "the fastest radio salesrep" Gonsalves of Q107 will
be heating it up against 97.7 HTZFM's "Dangerous" Dan Paulin and morning
co-host and sports director Joe Cahill, Ray Greenspon of Y95.3 will try to
take the title of "fastest salesrep". Other media representatives include
Inside Track Motorsport News and Performance Racing News battling it out
for rights to the Dragway Park print media champion.

Anthony Cesaroni of the North American Propulsion and Aerospace Society
will be giving a demonstration on the sport of HIGH POWERED ROCKET FLYING.
According to Cesaroni "It's very loud, lots of smoke and flames" he
continues "the largest rocket is fifteen feet high and will be launched to
about 8000 feet using a video camera and recovery parachutes".

Headlining the Entertainment will be the 1998 Canadian Grand National
"Elvis Impersonation" Champion, Jay Zanier.
