Kyle,
What Bob got was the first V-6 TB that we have done. Two have gone out so
far. The work included a reworked shaft, standard V-6 plates, the air horns
removed from the top of the TB, modification (almost complete removal) of
the variable venturi above the plates and a re-shape of the compression
angle above the plates. The compression angle is now 15 degrees and at the
top of the TB (top of the compression angle), the diameter is the same as
the V-8's. We haven't flowed one yet, but I am sure it flows a lot more.
These changes should maintain the low end torque and allow better breathing
from somewhere around 2,000 RPM and up.........
