Good-luck! I painted my stock exhaust manifolds once with 1200 degree
paint. It lasted about two minutes.

I think the headers will get hotter than 500 deg. The o2 sensors have to
be up to 600 deg to work right. So I guess all the exhaust is really hot
up there. Also, I touched the header once and left the back side of my
hand on it. Felt like it was hot to me...
