Lockers used with a manual trans

I'm new here and noticed the discussions are predominantly street/strip
(2WD) oriented, which is cool (I have a '70 Charger), but was wondering how
many Dakota owners really take their 4X4's out wheeling. I do, and would
really like to see more of these extremely capable trucks on the trail!!
So much for introductions, I have a question:

Has anybody installed a locker in a Dakota with a manual transmission?? I
have a 1998 4x4 V8 5spd with a Lock Right locker in my 9 1/4" rear and when
I drive slow and turn, it "bucks" really bad. Also, when you give it the
slightest gas it locks up and chirps the tires.

I also installed the same locker in my '74 Ramcharger (automatic trans)
which has the same rear end, but you can't even tell it has a locker in it
until you hit the trail and get a tire (or two) off the ground.

Why would there be such a big difference in the way the same locker acts
between transmission types??

Also, has anybody heard when the Rancho 3" lift kit will be out?? I've heard
June...........anybody heard any prices??
