My new Leach/MP headers

Well, I finally got my Mike Leach Headers installed. It took a total of 18
hours! But this included the installation of 2 "before the cat" dump pipes
and a 3" three chamber Flowmaster muffler. It was a fairly straight forward
install that went pretty smoothly. One suggestion if you plan on doing this
install is to get a ratcheting tie down strap. This will allow you to move
the transmission around to gain clearance for the header install. It really
saved a ton of time and aggravation. (The rear trans mount needs to be
removed to have the tranny "move around") I can't say enough for the setup
performance wise. It really pulls strong now. It finally sounds and feels
like the muscle truck that it is. My G-tech shows around a 20 HP gain with
the system. The truck is totally stock other than the K&N drop in panel
filter. (I took off my 52mm Fastman TB for future 1/4 mile tests with just
the headers and then with the TB) I will have 1/4 times soon. One other thing
about the header install... there is a screw sticking out of the passenger
side fire wall that holds on the heat shield (the one furthest to the
passenger side) This MUST be cut off or the headers will rub it. (This IS NOT
in the header install directions) This will also aid in the bolting on of the
passenger side header.

Ps. When I unbolted the exhaust dump pipes... it sounds like a full blown
dragster! It shook my whole garage!
