I was happy to finally find this mag by chance at Chapters on Sunday.
I was keeping an eye out for it because they are doing a Project
Dakota R/T series. I eagerly picked it up and was VERY happy to find
that Volume 7 is the one where they are just starting the project, so
I haven't missed anything yet. They didn't do anything yet, but just
talked about a few things they will do and outlined some areas of
improvement ie. air cleaner, lowering to drop drag coefficient, adding
a tonneau to pick up gas mileage (they firmly believe a tonneau can
add at least 3-4 mpg on any truck. Not sure about that one). The
project is a 99 SY CC and I believe the owner is on the R/T list.
Cool. The magazine seems written fairly well, albeit a little thin for
the price. The Tech column is interesting. Unless you have a good,
technical question, don't ask. The Tech guy will roast you if he feels
you're wasting his time. I'll keep buying it for the R/T article,
though.

P.S. Another Mopar mag did a write-up on Nitrous Express and how they
take a RENTAL Neon, put juice on it for the weekend at the tracks and
drop the 1/4 mile from 19,0 to 14.73!!! Install time is 26 min.! Wow.
