First of all... the temp inside a car isn't a constant... it's quickly
remedied... and the operating temp of most computers is really hi... the
BIggest heat source from a computer is the power supply. and Laptops are
worse from this heat because of the lack of power supply fan... in most
older models anyway. :)
Your buddy with the 16MB of Ram should consider doubling....Sys Req are very
minimal... optimal is always higher... have you ever seen win 95 run on a
486... :)

As for the Clarion... hmmm... I'd actually rather have the player not have
any connections other than the controller... and the actual stereo volume...
the cassete thing is annoying... I know... I have a Rio.... :)
