Hi Rob
I've received a number of responses (thank you!) and it sounds like this is
the way the V-8s (318 + 360) come from the factory.
Maybe someone has a logical deduction as to why : 1. it is spliced at all
and 2. why it is spliced right over the left side spark plugs.
My concern is: this blowing and spewing anitfreeze over every inch of the
engine compartment. Sure, any hose clamp can give out and have the same
happen, but does it need to be spliced at all? and at this location?
