Yes, the guy did put the overhead console in his Club Cab Dak. And other
than a few little modifications, it was a simple bolt in.
My guess is that if you already have the Grand Caravan, and you want to
upgrade it with the overhead console, than you should have absolutely no
problem. The bracing is all going to be there, and if you take some
polaroids and get the diagrams from the service manual from your local
dealer, you shouldn't have any problem.
As for wiring harnesses, check yours and you may find that all the wires
are already in place. I know that most new Dakotas come with the doors
already wired for power mirrors, whether they have the mirrors or not.
