Check this out:
I go over to maroone dodge, a "five-star" dealer. I schedule an
appointment, I speak with a rep., I tell him about
1.A strange clicking sound from the steering wheel
2.The "whoo-whoo"sound I spoke of earlier (from the right rear tire)
3. Very rough idling while the engine is cold
4. A buzzing sound from the transmission while in reverse (tsb)
He gets the car, its there 2 1/2 days. They don't even call me back. I
finally decide to call the service rep. back, and After 15 minutes on
hold, He comes back to tell me "Well, the mechanics have looked over the
truck and they've found no problems". I know for a fact all of these
problems exist. I'm not craZy. Unfortunately, their "we don't fix it
until it breaks" attitude is really annoying me. They also said rough
idle is normal on the V6, so I said "why does it only happen while its
cold?" He didnt answer. And to top it off, the tsb on the buzzing sound,
is considered an "upgrade"(according to the rep.) and it wont be fixed
for another two weeks. What the hell! So am I supposed to wait until the
steering wheel locks up and I kill someone (or myself) before they fix
it? All of these problems I have researched, and at least two have tsb's.
I dont know who makes these rules on repairs, but they suck.
