Bob,
I would suggest that you hold tight for a couple of months. We are in the
process of building up an engine right now. Dick and Robert Landy are hoping
to have a turn-key engine package for sale. We have worked with John Erb
(the chief engineer) at Keith Black to develop a replacement HP piston for
these engines. Most of the work is done (just waiting on the prototype
pistons). The cam is custom grind out of Crane, Robert and Dick Landy have
done the block and head work. We are shooting for 400 HP and we should
easily achieve this and it will be clean (emissions wise) but not Carb Legal
because of the intake manifold and cam (we just need to fool people). Some
of the specs. CR 9.7/1, cam specs, .570 lift intake, .580 lift exhaust,
duration 218 degrees intake, 224 degrees exhaust, split duration. LSA - 112
degrees. Custom software to match the engine. Bruce & I will have pics as we
work through the process of assembly. If you need a short block sooner, then
either Dave Hughes @ Hughes Engines, or Kammer & Kammer can provide you with
a custom short or long block and both do quality work...........
Frank
