Hi Doug,

The Dual-eRam setup can be used on a daily basis (and I DO use it on a daily
basis)...but since it only comes on at WOT, it's mainly meant for racing. I
tested the Dual-eRam at the Houston track last month and found that the
truck ran about 3-tenths quicker with them ON (have the timeslips to prove
that as well). However, I wouldn't recommend them with a stock TB...IMHO.
Main reason for that is the fact that most of the performance mods that we
can do, don't really work at their best until that @#! Stock TB is replaced.
;)

The eRam should also be used as a "I'm almost done with my mods" add-on for
that final touch. (Ok...so I jumped the gun on that one.)

If you have any technical questions about it, I can help with some of
them...but the person you really want to talk is Mark Kibort (one of the
designers of the eRam...real nice guy too). mkibort@compuserve.com

Regards,

Bernd

Bernd,

I looked up the photos of your new headers. They look incredible!
Good luck with the installation. While I was at your site, I started
looking at your e-Ram modification and than visited the website. What I
would like to know is, is this strictly a racing modification, or can it
be used for daily driving? Does it give you a noticeable improvement on
it's own, or should I wait and integrate it with a new TBI unit? I plan
on using my tax refund next year to pay for all mods at once and I
figured I can do the entire exhaust, new TBI, e-ram, IAT mod, and
ignition upgrade for between $1000-$1500. I have a lot more questions
about the e-ram, but don't want to take up too much space here. Feel
free to e-mail me privately about this if you wish. Thanks ahead of
time!
