I paid $165 US for my MOPAR tow hooks and installed them myself. They are
expensive for tow hooks but you are buying an entire assembly that mounts to
the frame. There was no drilling required for mine and even though the
directions indicate the need to cut the lower splash shield (you won't see
where it's been cut when done) I was able to work around that and not cut
anything.

That donut thing for the rear hitch is the balls! Kyle put me onto that and I
bought mine from Northern Tool and Equipment. So far I've pulled two Chevys,
one Ford and a stump with mine. You'll have to loop straps through it when
pulling things as I haven't found a hook big enough to fit. I keep it on year
round to keep tailgatters and lousy parkers off my bumper too. :-)

Has anyone installed any tow hooks on their Daks yet?
I heard from one of the Ram guys that the ones available from the dealer are
expensive (like $130-$200 US) and you have to drill through the frame, and
put holes through the front bumper molding to install them. I was looking
for something a little simpler to install but i'm not sure there another
option?
But i also saw a product that you slip into the receiving hitch, and
basically it's a big metal loop. But is this option as bolting tow hooks to
the frame?
Start throwing the opinions ou everyone.
