I thought that as well in the beginning and had removed the cap and played
around with the screw. All it does is change the blade angle. The computer
controls the idle speed mainly with the IAS.

(I had turned it in 1 turn to find out what it changes and the idle went up
slightly for a few seconds and then right back to where it was.)

Yes there is. it's covered by a small plug just knock out the plug and there
it is. All you have to do is get it close and the IAS takes over control.
But if you had a radical cam you could bump the idle up a few hundred rpm to
smooth the motor out.
