I had a '95 that I went with Doug Thorley headers, and a throttle body
(and Cat back exhaust, 3") and it towed my buddies boat better than
his own Ford F250 (460cid). The headers really made some great power
down low, and good midrange and top end. Otherwise, the engine wasn't
touched.

3.90 gears and a 5 speed helped too.
