As I understand the "President's initiative" will effectively lead to the
closure of many 4x4 trails currently in use. I've seen this happen in a bunch
of state parks/public land were one day there is a sign that says 4x4's or Jeep
Trail and the next day it's gated off! It really pisses me off!

I'll see if I can dig up some other web sites for more info.

I really want to support this but after looking at the website I'm a
little confused! It doesn't explain anything and the letter is very
vague. Do you have any more info on this?
