If that is indeed the policy of the dealer (as opposed to the service guy
just trying to get rid of you) then it is inexcusable and they deserve to
be reported to DC. Any dealer should work on any car no matter where it was
bought. However, in defense of the service guy, most dealership service
areas stay pretty booked up. Driving up without an appointment and
expecting to get taken care of right away is like walking into a doctors
office without an appointment and expecting to get to see the doctor
immediately. And I doubt very seriously whether they have one guy that does
nothing but change oil. That's probably handled by the next available
mechanic when your turn comes.
