If 3.55 gears, plan on 4th gear 99% of the time, if
3.92 gears, and on flat level ground, 5th could be
used at speeds of 65 mph and up, otherwise run in 4th
and enjoy the drive/view and keep the revs. around
3000 rpm.

Does your boat trailer have surge brakes???
