I was pulling up to my house and there's about 5 people trying to push this
Ford Probe off of a curb that it looked like it had slid into. (Wednesday
overnight we got about 4", and not many plow trucks in come around the side
streets.)
So i pull up and don't really feel like doing too much work so i yell and
say i can use the Dak to push them out. They just kinda waved me off. So i
get out and as i'm walkin to my house they finally push the car off the curb
with the fronts spinning, and the car still isn't really moving as fast as i
would expect.
And now i notice that neither of the rear tires are turning.
I yell "do you still have your parking brake on?"
The window is open and i start to hear laughter and "o my God!"
I say to the only guy there, "well, maybe that had just a little bit to do
with the problem, ya think?"
He just looked down and shook his head.
No offense to the ladies on the list, these were pretty young looking, and
obviously not too bright. Firstly getting their car stuck in a snow bank on
a curb, then not releasing the parking brake.
That was my little chuckle yesterday,
