A-Hole Cop

I was coming upon a sobriety check point this evening and I had nothing
to fear because I haven't had anything to drink in about 1 week, so I
roll on up to the line, and I was wrong. I get told to pull off to the
side and I get written up for 1. No front plate (it was recently torn
off off roading and you can see the damage to the front of my bumper,
yes a plate should be there, but I am in the process of getting it
fixed) 2. I was using what dog calls Fog lamps on the truck. These are
the ones that came with the truck when I purchased it brand new from the
dealer. According to the officer, these are not fog lamps, rather
auxillery lights and you can't drive with them while operating the low
beams, but funny enough, Dodge wired them so that they only work with
the low beams. 3. The final kick in the ass was my trailor ball
interfiers with the rear plate which is complete bull shit and you can
see the plate just fine. I've been pulled over a total of 6 times with
my truck and 5 of the times were for little $hit violations such as...
My truck was 6 weeks old and I got pulled over for having to bright of
fog lamps, again these were the factory equipped lights and the first
officer called them fog lamps. Out of all these times I was pulled over,
they all checked my rear plate and didn't have a problem reading it.

So if you live in Orange County, CA watch out for Officer Berg #2460 he
is one major a-hole and does not deserve to "serve and protect" seeing
how he's more concerned with fog lamps than other things that are going
on at that very moment.

Don't get me wrong, I respect Law Officers, and appreciate it that
they're out to keep the peace, but my experiences with our legal system
had be crappy. Watch out for the Corona Superior Court, they don't send
out notices (not courtesy notices) but your actual trial date that you
set when you appeared the first time.
